Who can be a director?
Generally members can appoint anyone as a director except:
- Anybody currently disqualified by a court
- An undischarged bankrupt
- Anyone under the age of 16 (Scotland only)
- For a PLC anyone over the age of 70 unless specifically approved in general meeting
