Financial Controller
Joanna ChillingsworthJoanna is a meticulous, self- motivated finance and accounts professional with transferable skills gained in a wide range of business sectors. She started her career with Roy Chapman Limited in 1983 and has since then, been involved in accounting activities in a diverse range of companies.
Joanna qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998, and having worked with companies of various sizes and needs, she now has a verifiable track record of delivering outstanding results to client companies using efficient analytical and interpersonal skills.
After leaving Roy Chapman in 1987 as Accounts Manager, Joanna worked for various companies, reconciling group financial accounts, preparing statutory and management accounts, as well being responsible for treasury and money markets.
From 1997 to 2000, she worked on short term assignments for blue chip companies such as National Mutual, Mercedes, Abbey National and SKF as a Management Accountant and for Argos as a Systems Accountant.
In September 2000, she became International/ Company Accountant for Christie Group PLC, managing accounting staff in the UK, France, Germany and Spain, producing full sets of management accounts under both local and UK laws. She also established three accounting systems for non-UK companies, delivered budgets, managed cash for operations, administered payrolls and reconciled tax and VAT.
More recently, Joanna was Financial Controller at Alpheus Environmental Limited, (Anglian Water Group Plc) where she had full responsibility for production of management Accounts, VAT returns, and Business Managers reports. She was responsible for the financial planning of commercial projects, managing cash flow, and producing 18 month rolling forecasts.
Prior to joining e-FM, Joanna worked at Intonicia Limited as Financial Controller for a year.
