Chinwe Maureen Chidobem

Chinwe started her business career in the pharmaceutical industry and then moved to the financial services industry in 1999. She worked with Afri-Bank Nigeria PLC, Africa co-ordinating cash management transactions across the country and managing income reconciliation for corporate clients. In the year 2000, she moved to Platinum Bank Limited as a customer service officer. She was involved in marketing, accounts management and corporate communications. She rose through the ranks and in 2004, became the bank's Head of Customer services overseeing staff in 23 branches across the country. In 2006, she was made International Trade Officer, processing payments on Imports and Exports to the Federal Republic of Nigeria as well managing a diverse range of offshore payments for services and bills. She formed many relationships with International banks including Deutsche Bank, Habib London, Barclays Bank and HSBC and provided advisory services on payment options and international banking relationships. Chinwe is an MBA graduate from the University of Bedfordshire, Luton and works with e-FM, handling its marketing and PR activities.
