e-FM Supports Entrepreneurs And Innovators
The Judge Business School, University of Cambridge held its 'Ignite' programme in July, aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. The one week long programme involved training sessions, group clinics, mentors' sessions and expert advice from leading entrepreneurs and innovators.

This year, e-Financial Management (e-FM) was part of the event and Gary Jesson, Managing Director was speaker for the session 'Preparing The Financials', an analytical session on developing realistic financial projections for new businesses, new products and new services. Many of the delegates were international but there was local presence as well, all anxious to get their projects underway.

'The feedback was excellent', says Alan Barrell, Entrepreneur in Residence, University of Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre 'and we would love to see e-FM here again. The session was practical, highly analytical with diagrammatic representation to buttress important points and it addressed many of the issues confronting many businesses and intending business owners'.

The event was very well attended and the University of Cambridge already looks forward to the next programme in June 2009! Back to News
